Energetic Indian wedding celebration with festive drummers and colorful decorations in Kolkata.

Our Origins

Friends united by a love of the Beatles and Punjabi music created a bold new sound. We now bring energetic, danceable covers to audiences across the UK.

Where Two Traditions Become One

We began as a group of Beatles fans and Punjabi musicians who wanted to celebrate two beloved musical traditions. By blending jangly guitar and tight vocal harmonies with driving dhol rhythms, tabla grooves and bhangra flair, we transform classic Beatles songs into high-energy, danceable arrangements. Based in Scotland and touring across the UK, we play festivals, weddings, corporate events and club nights. Our mission is to create joyful, cross-cultural shows that honour the originals while giving them a fresh, celebratory heartbeat—music that gets people singing, dancing and smiling together.

About Us

THE HITS OF THE BEATLES WITH A SPRINKLING OF SPICE.

The Bhangra beatleZ are not your average Beatles Celebration Band. The 7 piece fuse the songs of The Beatles with high octane betas of Punjabi Folk music and Bhangra, to create a sound thet is truly unique and guaranteed to fill any dancefloor.

The Band was formed by Sanjay Majhu in 2016 through his love of all things Beatles. Originally the lead singer of Scotlands biggest Bhangra Band “Bombay Talkie” Sanjay has released three albums Judgement Day (1993), Feem (1997) and more recently his Bhangra BeatleZ album Masala which is on all major platforms such as Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music and SoundCloud.

“This Indian Spin on Beatles really works, the audience were on their feet singing and dancing all night… great band..”
